Why choose a salt water chlorinator to chlorinate and maintain your pool?

Saltwater chlorination produces its own chlorine when mildly salted water is passed through the salt cell. The chlorine dissolves instantly in the pool water and immediately sanitises the pool.  It is essential that you measure the salt level of your pool and maintain it at the recommended level, depending on what type or brand of chlorinator you use.  Most pools need a salt level between 0.4 and 0.8, sometimes you will need to add salt to your pool if there has been a lot of rain and at other times you will need to add water to ensure that your salt level remains within the recommended range.

When purchasing a chlorinator ensure that the unit you select is capable of producing sufficient chlorine to meet your maximum requirements. It is important to consider pool size, number of swimmers per day and climatic conditions.  If you are unsure of what size unit you need to purchase please just ask.

We also sell other products for your pool including cleaners, pumps, filters, and other bits and pieces.
